The "damn" Northeast continued for days, equally strong but useless for the pilots around Jena, since there is no good or official takeoff. So the addicts need to travel to Saalfeld and its great site for that wind direction called Knobelsdorf.

Unlikely to happen, but even though we arrived much too late for a fall day (check the long shadows), we found good lift from dynamic wind mixed with the rising air from the bottom of the Saale valley - a fun one-and-a-half hours!
